Love this. 
A lot is riding on this one. Do or die time. I watched this before seeing the rise of Skywalker. Me. saw rey holding a double sided light saber * Also me: a surprise to be sure but a welcome one. Disney: The Saga Ends Obi Wan movie 2021: Hello there. Love the face on the nose. The answer is simple: Leia and Han had a nasty quarrel, Leia went on a bender and met a mature gentleman by the name of Jar Jar who played his cards well. Hence Rey.
DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SEE SPOILERS. This movie had so many holes and so many unanswered questions. First, you never find out what Finn is trying to tell Rey. You cannot bring that up multiple times, and then not close the hole - that's basic storytelling. Especially if this is the last film.
Next, I hated Ben's death scene. I wouldn't have minded it as much if they had given his death proper closure. As one of, if not the best, character in the series, the death of his character was horrifying. He did not have a single line in the last 10 minutes of his ending. His death is sudden, and goes unmourned or uncelebrated. It's like it never happens at all. He just disappears. After the close of the film, it leaves you feeling like his death was a last minute decision.
All the sacrifice - Leia's death, Rey's sacrifices, and Han Solo's death was to SAVE HIM. In the end, he has a brief moment of redemption and then nothing. Meaning, the deaths of Luke, Hans, and Leia all seem meaningless and their legacy is destroyed with him in his death. At the end, it seems they try to rectify this by Rey accepting the name Skywalker - but she's not. The point of the film is that she is NOT a Skywalker. She should have accepted her past, and forged her own future, instead of continuing to build off their legacy (was which has died in Ben.
How did Palpatine come back? They seem to leave this as "the dark side has unnatural power. This is also lazy writing.
I gave this 3 stars because Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley's performances were outstanding, and the action wasn't bad either. They just happened to get screwed over by the bad writing and an unnatural, rushed ending. What was JJ thinking.
10:58 The reflective lighstaber looks like a blue version of kylo ren's crossguard. Honestly, I like this movie a little more every time I watch it. Its flawed, and there are definitly elements that don't feel like a star wars movie (it's a bit meta and artsy. But, the more I watch it, the more I appreciate the message it has about failure and redemption. Definitely something that can be inspiring for kids and adults. The music for this preview is high class. HEYYYY BIHHHH😘 (I just finally wanted to make a comment on a trailer. They are always disabled) 😂😂😂. Did you just take someone elses video? Because there was another video that came out way before this that had those same logos in the bottom right and in the middle AND it was shorter. It got taken down yesterday. I dont think she was a clone, I feel like that's a stretch. Han and chewy taking care of her could be realistic. Me emocionó mucho el tráiler de el despertar. Is this really the second trailer or just a promotional thing. Darth Vader Darth Rey but most importantly, DARTH JAR JAR. 'People think they know me. No one does' I agree. 2 films in of bad story telling will do that.

Everyone: this is gonna be the last Star Wars movie omg Disney: there is another. The job made on The Last Jedi was really impressive. By the way who else thinks it could have been interesting/good that Rey died at the end of TROS. “Saga comes to an end?” I thought there were gonna be TEN MOVIES and then the saga is over. I just love Star Wars so much. Me: i think im not going to see this one in the theater. JJ: Hold my Beer Palatine: Roll it agian. Bawahhahahahaha Me: TAKE MY MONEY.
